Christine Johnson is a respected strategist with 20+ years of experience at the intersection of innovation, economic development, stakeholder engagement, and business support. She has led transformative strategies involving global companies, including Spotify, Microsoft, Ford, and AWS, while also advising early-stage ventures, economic development agencies, entrepreneur support organizations, consultants, and public-private partnerships across multiple markets.
As a team member with the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO), Christine helped shape one of the nation’s premier innovation ecosystems. She later became one of the first senior-level innovation economic development specialists in South Florida, where her work connected companies, small businesses, entrepreneurs, public agencies, and community partners to opportunities for growth, investment, and collaboration.
Christine’s experience includes supporting small business engagement strategies, ecosystem-building initiatives, and multi-million dollar U.S. EDA-funded programs. During periods of economic disruption, she has helped design outreach and engagement approaches that connect businesses to timely information, trusted resources, and relationship-based support.
Christine specializes in designing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies that prioritize relationships, trust, and innovation. Her work has extended to adapting these best practices into community and public engagement models for complex infrastructure projects. Additionally, she founded a regional diversity-in-tech initiative with over 1,000 members and has supported initiatives representing more than $100M in local investment across markets.
She is a strong advocate for well-being as a foundational pillar of prosperous and sustainable ventures, small businesses, and new economies.
